FeaturedInterview With Stunt Performer:

Tell about yourself and your background! *

My background is professional motocross! I began riding when I was 11, started racing when I was 13 and turned professional by 18. I raced all over the country and even raced in XGames LA in 2013. In 2014, I got the opportunity to travel the world on a stunt show called, Marvel Universe Live for 5 years! Once my time came to an end with that production, I got to audition to drive for Monster Jam in 2019. I made the cut and was the newest driver athlete in 2020 and even won Rookie of the Year. I’m still heavily involved in the motocross industry and also coaching. Along with a passion for fitness, I’m constantly training whatever I can get my hands on; stunt driving, fighting, falls, etc.

What inspired you to become a stunt performer?

What inspired me to become a stunt performer is my love of action. To have the ability to use my skill to be creative and be a part of something much bigger than myself is always exciting. It’s motivating to turn my passion into a career.

What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?

My greatest skill is jumping dirtbikes. It’s always been a strength of mine. It’s definitely something that has set me apart from others- both men and women. Driving Monster Trucks has also been great precision driving training, believe it or not.

What is the best part about being a stunt performer?

The best part about being a stunt performer is meeting so many talented stunties! The camaraderie and friendships I’ve made have been so awesome. But more importantly; it’s so fulfilling giving %110 to your craft to create the best work you can do with your team.

Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!

My favorite story thus far is getting to double a model on a dirt bike doing wheelies in a full dress and heels! The heels brought its own set of challenges, but riding in a designer dress on the streets of LA was a pretty cool experience!

What advice would you give other stunt performers?

My advice to other stunt performers is advice I was also given from a stunt legend: get out and drive and ride everything! You never know what you’ll be asked to do next, (whether it’s riding or not) take your main skill and practice it in every situation. Get comfortable being uncomfortable! Safely ;)
