Tell about yourself and your background! *
Moved from New Orleans to LA to pursue my career in stunts. I have now moved back to New Orleans after 5 years to go even further back home.
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
My Dad was a Stuntman then Stunt Coordinator and finally a Director. He inspired me and continues to do so.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
My greatest skill is making sure that even big guys can look good doing stunts!
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
The best part is truly making it all come together with even the smallest stunt. If it looks like it hurts its perfect!
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
My favorite stunt story would have to be the first doubling job I’ve ever gotten. I was nervous and unsure of most things but everyone was so excited that I looked just like the kid, it through me off a bit. I was just brought to everyone by the coordinator not saying a word except “This is him!” After an hour of that I finally asked “ So did I get the job”? He laughed and said of course I’ll see you Monday.
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
Only advice I can give is, this is a difficult industry to really get into. Don’t give up and you have to stay all around on the job. My Dad used to tell me “ there are people who sleep, eat and live this life, don’t half a** it”.
Anything else you'd like to tell the community about?
I’m still getting started down here and I look forward to meeting everyone and what they can teach me. Always willing to learn
