Tell about yourself and your background! *
I have a physical background in wrestling and MMA and experience in Navy Crash and Salvage as well as some special warfare training that I thought might cross over into this realm. I also have an associates in drama and certifications in massage and yoga. I train regularly with the Stunt Performers Academy in Los Angeles run by Banzai Vitale and with Team Clutch the Southern California stunt crew. I have western and Hong Kong style choreography, weapons, wrecks, ground pounding, full fire burns. High and low fall headers, suicides, faceoffs and back falls.
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
I have this need to perform and I do it best through my physicality. So I thought I would tip toe my way into the scene and see if you all would let me stick around for a while. Now that I have a taste for it though I'm a literal man on fire for stunts and can't get enough!
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
I'm resilient and I like making wrecks, fights, and crashes look their best. I enjoy the shock value of it too.
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
Not once has it felt like work. Every time I'm preparing for a gag I have that moment where I can't believe I get to do this. Who wants to grow up when you can be in the movies?
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
I'm still looking to make many more but my two favorite stunts so far are being set on fire and an actual banana peel gag! Honestly, it's hard to pick between the two.
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
Be humble, be early, and stick the stunt!
Anything else you'd like to tell the community about?
Have stunts, will travel!! Thanks for letting me be part of the fun!
