Tell about yourself and your background! *
I left Florida to live in Georgia for one soul purpose and that was to be part of the film industry and give people inspiration and the ability to explore their own creativity. I've studied Kali, JKD, Wing Chun, fighting on camera, wrecks, and wirework. My background isn't as huge as I'd like it to be and that is only for the fact I still consider myself learning something new everyday from other amazing people/performers.
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
I always saw myself working in film when I was a kid. Stunts though became a bigger part of my life and being able to work with so many amazing performers and learning from them is what inspires me to keep moving even more.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
Reactions and knowing my limitations.
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
Being able to create something and then watching it on the other side of the screen. Seeing the story you wanted told.
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
2 years ago I worked my first stunt job. It was for a music video. What made that day amazing was the fact I got to work with the people I first started training with when I started this journey. We laughed, we wrecked, we trusted one another, and we had a great day.
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
Never give up. In this world you'll find a group of people who'll help push you and see true greatness and will inspire you to keep moving forward towards your dreams.
Anything else you'd like to tell the community about?
It is important to train and learn new skills, but also realize it's important to remember we need to rest our bodies. With what we do we need to be at 100% whenever at set and we can't do that when we're overworked. Let's build, let's create, let us all strive for greatness.
