I grew up in the Philippines, started learning martial arts and massages there. Then I lived in Germany for 18 years, raising kids, working and learning more.
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
Watching Jackie Chan when I was a teenager inspired me to be one.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
I am a martial artist. If kicking and punching someone in a film is considered a stunt, then yes. Martial arts skills are my greatest skills.
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
The best part of being a stunt performer is the fact that you're doing the action and still not get hurt or hurt anyone.
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
I really like my scene in The Match-Stick Flame, where I had to roundhouse kicked a gun out of my kidnapper's hand and sidekicked her out of the room, then brawl with her into the floor. I finished her off with multiple punches.
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
My advise for others is simply to make sure that everything is safe on the set.
