Tell about yourself and your background! *
I’m from a tiny town in NE Connecticut. I love to rock climb, play disc golf, work with my hands, and stunt.
What inspired you to become a stunt performer?
I never wanted to work an unexciting or non enjoyable job again.
What is your greatest skill as a stunt performer, is there a stunt behind it?
I fell in love with falls and wrecks once I learned how to do them properly & safely! They are they main things I’ve been practicing my whole life and that is how Ive been serious injury free so far! Practice practice practice.
What is the best part about being a stunt performer?
My favorite thing about being a stunt performer is meeting all of the different people and actors on set. It’s a great way to learn so much about the industry and create new connections!
Tell your all-time favorite stunt story!
One of my favorite parts about stunts is experiencing it with everybody else and working together to keep each other safe and aware of what we’re doing. That being said, The first fire workshop I participated in along with 20+ other people was amazing. Getting to learn how a fire team sets up for a burn, executes a burn, and puts it out safely was a critical stepping stone for learning and understanding how much thinking goes into a lot of stunts that may look easy. Spending the day with so many people being set on fire and being one of their safety lines was an amazing experience and I’ll never forget it.
What advice would you give other stunt performers?
Keep your ears and eyes open, make sure everything you’re doing is safely planned, and hustle to meet as many people in the industry as you can.
